We are Bokomo

John Hiles, Chief Executive Officer ​

John has worked within the Pioneer Group since 1984, initially with Ceres Fruit Juices and then Bokomo South Africa before joining Bokomo UK in 1991. Before being appointed as CEO in May 2012 John was Operations Manager at Bokomo UK, responsible for Group Operations including the buying, engineering, production, supply chain and technical departments.

Jonathon Thorn, Commercial Manager ​

Jonathan has worked with Bokomo since 2007, initially as Management Accountant then progressing to Factory Manager and then on to Finance Manager. In January 2015 Jonathon was appointed as Commercial Manager responsible for the sales and new product development departments.

Deb Jacob

Deb Jacob, HR Manager 

Deb has worked with Bokomo since November 2011 and has over 25 years’ experience working in HR and Finance. She is responsible for all HR and training activities within the Group. Prior to joining Bokomo Deb held various HR positions within manufacturing as well as undertaking various consultancy projects.

Andy King, Buying Manager

Andy has been in the Food Industry for 30 years, with more than 25 of those in a buying role.  Andy is responsible for buying all the raw material ingredients we use aswell as the packaging and energy for both sites. Over the years Andy has gained a great understanding of the ingredients we use, having visited most of the growing regions of our major raw materials.

Paul Warden

Paul Warden, Sales Manager

Paul joined Bokomo UK in April 2012.  He has over 25 years’ experience in sales and account management in both branded and own-brand categories.

Adam Cowell

Adam Covell, National Account Manager

Adam joined the Bokomo Commercial team early in 2015, he has had 24 years’ experience in various FMCG markets, and fifteen of those spent working in the breakfast cereals market.

Neil Hackney

Neil Hackney, Engineering Manager

Neil joined Bokomo in 2012 and has over 30 years’ experience in engineering, having previously worked in process and manufacturing industries. Neil is responsible for engineering maintenance and projects across the group.

Sarah Shafer

Sarah Schafer, NPD Manager

Sarah joined Bokomo in 2015 having worked in the chilled and frozen sectors of the food industry for over 13 years. Sarah is responsible for the concept and process teams who deliver new product development from innovation through to launch.

Sarah McGeehan, Technical Manager

Sarah has been a Technical Manager for the past six years following a 14 year career within quality and food safety, working within both chilled and ambient environments. She is responsible for the technical and quality departments within the Group.

Steven Goodes

Steven Goodes, Finance Manager

Steven joined Bokomo in February 2007, as a Trainee Accountant and has progressed through the department until March 2015 when he was appointed as Finance Manager for Bokomo.
